  5. SCCS to Aide-De-Camp Conversion Utility

  7. The ADC/SCC utility moves source code into an Aide-De-Camp database and
  8. maintains the file history generated by SCCS. Along with the source code, the
  9. SCC utility brings the following SCCS-recorded information for all changes:
  10. author names, dates of SCCS recorded changes, author comments, file version
  11. (``delta'') id's, and history of which software changes are associated with
  12. which file versions

  14. Aide-De-Camp (ADC) is an object-oriented configuration management system. Once
  15. SCCS history is brought into an ADC database, developers use ADC to retrieve
  16. predefined versions ``as is'', just as with SCCS, or to create new versions
  17. including a previously defined base release and selected changes. Developers
  18. can access individual software entities that can be combined as required with
  19. other parts to meet changing needs.
